Best Practices
- Record criticism you only think, not just criticism said out loud.
- Separate criticism from others, your criticism toward others, and self-criticism.
- Write briefly and specifically.
- Add who and toward whom.
- Record it even if it repeats.
- Note the emotion after the criticism.
- Enter each individual case separately.
- Do not combine several incidents into one entry.
- Check the analysis at least once a week.
- Set up the people you receive criticism from or direct criticism toward in the categories.
- Do not wait for “important” criticism; record the small ones too.
- Use the app daily, not only after conflict.
- Keep names and labels consistent.
The more consistent your entries are, the more useful your analysis and reports become.
